Data protection declaration
In the case of all data processing procedures (e.g. gathering, processing and transmission), we shall act in accordance with the legal requirements of German legislation which is applicable to this internet site and related contracts. The declaration below shall provide you with an idea of the kind of data gathered, the way in which data are used and transmitted, the security measures which we take in order to protect your data and the way in which you are to be informed of the information provided to us.
§ 1 Gathering and storage of personal data
Personal data are individual data relating to the personal or actual circumstances of a particular or identifiable natural person and can be, for example, your name, address, telephone number, date of birth and bank details. When using our web pages, personal data shall only be recorded if you voluntarily provide us with them, possibly within the context of an enquiry or as part of an order (shoot calculator). In the case of an order, all data which we require to carry out and process an order shall be requested: your full name or the full name of your company as well as the person or persons who are authorised to represent the company, your e-mail address, your address (invoice and, if different, delivery address) and your telephone number. We shall store the data which you enter in order to be able to complete the order. At any time, you shall have the right to allow your data to be corrected or deleted. We shall undertake the deletion of your data where provision is made for deletion by the law, and we shall do so no later than after the expiry of the legal guarantee or time limitation periods.
§ 2 Use, transmission and deletion of personal data
We shall use the personal data which you provide to us in order to answer your queries, complete your orders and, where relevant, check your creditworthiness. The transmission, sale and other communication of your personal data to third parties shall only occur where transmission is necessary for the performance of the contract or for accounting purposes or for the collection of the payment or where you have given your express consent. For example, it can be necessary in the case of orders to transmit your address and order data to suppliers if delivery is to be made to you direct ex works. Our suppliers shall only receive the information which is necessary to perform their particular tasks. They shall not be permitted to make any other use of the information. We shall also be entitled to transmit personal data for collection purposes and we reserve the right to exchange data with organisations concerned with the protection of business interests (e.g. Schufa). We shall also not rule out the possibility of communicating anonymised usage data for market research purposes. The identification of users shall be ruled out. We should also like to point out that, at the direction of a relevant agency, we shall in individual cases have the right to provide information about data where this is necessary for the purposes of bringing criminal prosecutions, ensuring the prevention of risks by police authorities in the Länder, satisfying the statutory tasks of the Federal and State authorities for the protection of the Constitution as well as the Federal Intelligence Service and the Military Counter-Intelligence Service, and enforcing intellectual property rights.
§ 3 Security information
We have taken a number of security measures in order to ensure the adequate and appropriate protection of personal information. Our databases are protected by physical and technical measures as well as procedural measures which restrict access to information to specially authorised people in accordance with this data protection declaration. Our information system is behind a software firewall in order to prevent the access of other networks which are connected to the internet. Only employees who require information to perform a particular task shall be granted access to personal information. Our employees shall be trained in security and data protection practices. In the case of communication by e-mail, we cannot guarantee complete data security.
