§ 2 Use, transmission and deletion of personal data

We shall use the personal data which you provide to us in order to answer your queries, complete your orders and, where relevant, check your creditworthiness. The transmission, sale and other communication of your personal data to third parties shall only occur where transmission is necessary for the performance of the contract or for accounting purposes or for the collection of the payment or where you have given your express consent. For example, it can be necessary in the case of orders to transmit your address and order data to suppliers if delivery is to be made to you direct ex works. Our suppliers shall only receive the information which is necessary to perform their particular tasks. They shall not be permitted to make any other use of the information. We shall also be entitled to transmit personal data for collection purposes and we reserve the right to exchange data with organisations concerned with the protection of business interests (e.g. Schufa). We should also like to point out that, at the direction of a relevant agency, we shall in individual cases have the right to provide information about data where this is necessary for the purposes of bringing criminal prosecutions, ensuring the prevention of risks by police authorities in the Länder, satisfying the statutory tasks of the Federal and State authorities for the protection of the Constitution as well as the Federal Intelligence Service and the Military Counter-Intelligence Service, and enforcing intellectual property rights.


§ 3 Security information

We have taken a number of security measures in order to ensure the adequate and appropriate protection of personal information. Our databases are protected by physical and technical measures as well as procedural measures which restrict access to information to specially authorised people in accordance with this data protection declaration. Our information system is behind a software firewall in order to prevent the access of other networks which are connected to the internet. Only employees who require information to perform a particular task shall be granted access to personal information. Our employees shall be trained in security and data protection practices. In the case of communication by e-mail, we cannot guarantee complete data security.


§ 4 CookiesWe use cookies in order to make it easier to visit our website and to enable the use of particular functions (e.g. the shopping cart).
